Costa Rica Expeditions

WHO: Students from SVVSD* who have completed 11th-12th grade. *Young Life is not affiliated with the SVVSD school district.

WHAT: Join your leader for some serious fun, adventure, SERVICE, great food, great conversation & growth in COSTA RICA!!!

WHEN: June 17-24, 2024

WHERE: San Jose and Parrita, Costa Rica

WHY: Because upperclassmen are ready for a challenge! Instead of another typical summer camp experience, we wanted to create an opportunity for our students to serve, grow and be stretched in a new environment. We are joining with Young Life Expeditions: Costa Rica to create a custom missions experience for our kids and leaders!

HOW: By plane! Local transportation in Costa Rica will be in vans owned by Costa Rica Young Life.

COST: $1999.

A non-refundable $200 deposit is required to hold your spot. Price includes transportation, lodging and all meals in San Jose and Parrita.
We highly anticipate there will be a waitlist for this trip. A deposit is required to hold your place on the list. Refunds for waitlisted campers will be issued upon request, but you will forfeit your spot in line.
Plan to bring extra $ for fun (snacks, souvenirs, etc.) and travel meals.

Requirements for this trip:

Valid U.S. Passport (cannot expire within 6 months of travel - please look at your current passport NOW and make sure you have plenty of margin. If you do not already have a passport, apply for one NOW).

What to expect after registration:

You will receive a confirmation email after you register, with the option to create an account so you can access your registration and deposit details.

You will also receive an invitation to create a Managed Missions account which will be your hub for payment, required forms/ID, payment (and fundraising!).
